Our campus is in the heart of Galway city centre, with all amenities within walking distance. It is a vibrant place, with a year-long programme of cultural and sporting festivals. Below you can information on how to navigate campus, get to know the facilities on campus, make friends and stay updated with campus news.

• Societies - With over 120 societies learn more about how you can join in.
• Sports and Clubs -  Joining and participating in sports and clubs is a fantastic way to keep fit and healthy and also provides a great social outlet.
• Volunteering (ALIVE) - ALIVE is the University of Galways Student Volunteer Programme. Volunteering is a great way to get to meet new people and can have a positive impact on your personal and professional development. 
• Flirt FM - is Galway's vibrant student radio station, which broadcasts on 101.3FM to Galway City and surrounding areas. The station also broadcasts online 24/7/365. Find out how you can volunteer on Flirt FM or listen in and keep up to date on campus life.  
• SIN is the University of Galway's Award Winning Student Newspaper. Check out past issues online.
• Kingfisher Sports Centre - Located on campus Kingfisher Sports Centre offers state of the art gym facilities, a 25 metre pool and lots of group fitness classes. 
• Student Communications – Weekly Student Ezine - Distributed by email each week to all students. 
• Galway 100 - A group of 100 University of Galway students who act as a sounding board for Student Services on new initiatives and resources.
• Interactive Maps - A searchable map of the Galway Campus, including indoor maps providing navigation to services, facilities, and points of interest.
• Food (Restaurants and Cafes) - There are lots of cafés and restaurants on campus, which offer a broad range of food and drink options. 
• Student Pantry - Providing free surplus food, food with damaged packaging, end of line items and food that is nearing its sell by date to University of Galway students. 
• Creche - Spraoi Early Learning Centre operates the University Crèche, located at 50, Upper Newcastle.
• Outdoor Pods - Learn how to gain access to the outdoor pods, located across our campus. 
• The Hub - Student Common Room upstairs in Áras na Mac Léinn with access to boiling water, microwaves and wifi. 
• Campus Bus Timetable - Keep up to date on the park and ride bus schedule.  
• Multi Faith Facilities - Learn about the Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care Centre and the multifaith facilities available. 
• Sensory Spaces - Learn about the Cubbie, a multi-sensory, safe space which can be used by both students and staff.
